Qualifying Service Description:
- 1777, he served as a Private in the company of Capain Joseph Fuller, commanded by Colonel Noadiah Hooker. Service of two months.
- 1778, he served as an Artificer or Mechanic in the company of Captain Moses Cook of the Continental Army. Service of one year.
- 1779, he was drafted into the company of Captain Job Case, commanded by Colonel Noadiah Hooker. Service of two months.
- 1780, he enlisted in the company of Captain Ten Eycks, commanded by Colonel Herman Swift of the Continental Line. Service of six months.
